NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An MTA worker was wounded in a stabbing at a subway station in the Bronx on Thursday morning, police said.

The cleaner was in some sort of dispute at the Pelham Parkway 5-line station around 6:30 a.m. when he was stabbed in the arm.

The victim, who is in his 40s, was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, according to police.

An investigation into the stabbing is ongoing; no arrests have been reported.

The attack came a day after two men were stabbed in separate subway assaults in Manhattan on Wednesday morning.

And it came two days after a straphanger was pushed into the path of a 1 train at the 18th Street station in Chelsea on Tuesday in an apparently random attack that left the victim in critical condition.
