NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A months-long crime spree across Brooklyn and Manhattan has netted a burglary crew more than a dozen cash machines, police said Thursday as they released images of some of the suspects.

At least four people are wanted in the spree, which stretches back to early June—and across 10 NYPD precincts, mostly in Brooklyn. Nearly all of the businesses targeted were delis, but pizzerias and a juice bar were also hit, according to police.

The neighborhoods hit include Bedford-Stuyvesant, Ocean Hill, Bushwick, Brownsville, Williamsburg, East Williamsburg, Park Slope, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene and Greenpoint. One burglary in Harlem has also been linked to the crew.

Every burglary involved the suspects striking at night or in the early morning hours, entering a business and then either stealing or attempting to steal an ATM inside by hauling it into a getaway vehicle, police said.

Of the 20 burglaries reported so far, the thieves successfully removed ATMs in 16 of them, according to cops. They stole cash from an ATM but didn’t remove the machine in another burglary, and they fled empty-handed in the remaining three break-ins.

The first two burglaries were in June, followed by another three in July, and eight in August. There were also seven in September, including the most recent pair of burglaries on Sept. 20, when an ATM was stolen from a pizzeria on Franklin Street in Greenpoint just after midnight and another ATM was removed from a business on Erskine Street in East New York two hours later.

The vehicles used in the getaways include a dark-colored Dodge Caravan, a black Chevrolet, a gray Honda and a white van.

No arrests have been reported in the burglary pattern.
