NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A pair of hit-and-run crashes in Brooklyn and Manhattan late Friday left two cyclists critically injured, police said.

Police told the Daily News that the first crash happened in Bay Ridge around 10 p.m. and the second in midtown Manhattan around 11:15 p.m.

In the Bay Ridge crash, a gold-colored Chevy struck a 44-year-old man biking near Third Avenue and 73rd Street before fleeing the scene, according to the report.

The cyclist was listed in critical condition at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, police said.

About an hour later, a man was riding near E. 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue in midtown when he was hit from behind by an SUV with Connecticut plates, according to the report.

WABC reported that the man was a pedicab driver, and Citizen App video from the scene appears to show an overturned pedicab on the side of the road.

The cyclist was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.

Police said no arrests have been made in the two crashes.
