NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Newly-minted NYC mayoral candidate Andrew Yang said on Tuesday that he is suspending in-person campaign events to quarantine, after a campaign staffer tested positive for coronavirus.
The former Democratic presidential hopeful will quarantine for at least eight days, his campaign said.
"This morning, we learned that a member of the campaign staff received a positive result on a rapid Covid test," the statement said. "Since that time, Andrew has tested negative and is not experiencing any symptoms."
