NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police found a three-foot snake slithering across a street in Chelsea on Sunday.
The NYPD received a 911 call reporting a snake at the intersection of Washington Street and W. 12th Street.
An officer was able to safely remove the snake and take it to a nearby Animal Care Centers of NYC. The type of snake remains unidentified.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the snake.
