NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An NYPD officer is in the hot seat, facing charges for drunk driving while off-duty early Wednesday in Williamsburg, authorities said.
Steven Grant, 31, faces charges for driving while intoxicated and for driving while ability impaired, police said.
The New York Post reports Grant was driving his personal vehicle around 3:15 a.m. when he was pulled over by police, appearing to be under the influence.
Grant joined the NYPD in 2016 and was assigned to the 23rd Precinct in East Harlem, according to the Post.
