NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police arrested an off-duty NYPD school safety agent late Wednesday after he allegedly attacked his wife inside their Bronx home, authorities said.
Officers were called to the home of 38-year-old Joshua Salgado at 10:45 p.m. for a domestic dispute with his wife.
According to PIX11, Salgado attacked his wife with a broom handle at around 9 p.m.
The victim suffered minor injuries and bruising and was listed in stable condition.
Salgado was charged with two counts of assault, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and harassment, the NYPD said.
