NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for three thieves who are responsible for at least seven cellphone pickpocket robberies in Queens in the span of a few weeks.

The first incident occurred just after 4 p.m. on Jan. 19 on the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and Main Street where one of the suspects bumped into a 15-year-old female victim while walking. The victim then noticed the person stole her Samsung Galaxy 21 phone, police said.
Inside the subway station at the same location on Jan. 27, a 60-year-old woman discovered her laptop was stolen from her bag which was on the ground as she was buying a metrocard, authorities said.
Days later, on Jan. 31, the thieves struck again, this time at Song Tea Supermarket on Main Street where surveillance video captured one of the robbers taking an iPhone 13 from a 21-year-old victim.
The pickpockets hit another grocery store on Feb. 8, US 1 Supermarket, where one suspect took a cell phone from the victim’s jacket pocket and handed it to another suspect, police said.
Two of the robberies occurred on the same day, Feb. 11, just hours apart. The first at A and C Supermarket where the thieves took a cell phone from a 31-year-old victim’s jacket pocket and the other at the Roosevelt Avenue and 74 Street subway station where a 26-year-old woman was robbed of her cellphone, officials said.
The two female suspects are described as having light complexions, about 5'5", roughly 30-years-old, both with long black straight hair.
The third suspect is described as being an Asian male, 5'9" inches tall, last seen wearing a dark blue skull cap, light blue face mask and gray jacket.
