NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An NYPD van struck and killed a male pedestrian in Crown Heights Thursday night, officials said.
The man -- whose identity has not yet been released -- was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced dead.
The van was traveling along Eastern Parkway when it struck the man at Schenectady Avenue around 8 p.m.
It was unclear if the NYPD van was responding to an emergency.
The investigation is ongoing.
