
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a photo of a motorcyclist accused of assaulting an off-duty NYPD officer in Manhattan Tuesday night after getting asked to slow down.
At approximately 7 p.m., the victim, a 52-year-old man was walking his dog in the vicinity of East 90th Street and First Avenue on the Upper East Side, when he observed the suspect operating a green motorcycle in a reckless manner, officials said.

When the off-duty officer asked the suspect to slow down, the suspect approached and struck him multiple times in the face with a closed fist causing him to fall down on the ground.
While the victim was on the ground, the suspect continued to strike him in the face before fleeing eastbound on East 90th Street, authorities said.
The victim was taken to Cornell Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a man approximately 35 to 45 years of age who was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, helmet and riding a motorcycle.
