DUMONT, N.J. (1010 WINS) − Officials are investigating a fatal hit-and-run at a New Jersey intersection on Thursday evening, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
A pedestrian was fatally stuck by a vehicle and killed at Washington and Madison avenues in Dumont just after 5:15 p.m., prosecutor's said.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
Officials have not released a description of the vehicle being sought in connection with this incident.
An investigation is ongoing.
