
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD released a photo on Thursday of a man sought for slashing an employee at a Manhattan Old Navy on Tuesday.
At approximately 8:15 p.m., on Tuesday, May 21, the suspect entered the store located at 610 6th Ave in Chelsea and took items, officials said.
When a 24-year-old employee attempted to recover the items, the suspect displayed a razor blade and cut his left hand.
The suspect fled the location on foot, going northbound on 6th Avenue to parts unknown.
The victim sustained a minor injury and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing a dark gray Nike sweat jacket with zipper, black stocking cap, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
