NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking for a man who they said groped a 14-year-old girl as she was sitting on a Queens subway train Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. aboard a northbound M train that was en route to the Steinway Street subway station in Astoria.
Police said the victim was seated on the train when an unidentified man seated beside her began touching her thigh and buttocks over her clothing.
Upon arrival at Steinway Street, the victim fled the train, only to be followed by the man, according to NYPD officials.
The suspect followed the girl out of the station and attempted to engage her in conversation on the street, police said. The teenager ran for safety as he tried speaking with her and the man then fled on foot.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Authorities released a photo of the suspect showing he was last seen wearing a black and red coat, a black baseball cap, black pants, white and red sneakers and a black face mask.
