NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- NYC Sheriff Office deputies broke up an illegal fight club, billed as the "Rumble in the Bronx," that attracted over 200 people Saturday night.
Deputies shut down the club on Coster Street in the Hunts Point section around 11:15 p.m. for violating state COVID orders and illegal combat.
Loaded guns, drugs and booze were seized in the bust and 10 organizers were arrested for multiple crimes, authorities said.
Michael Roman, 32, was identified by authorities as being the CEO of Rumble in the Bronx, according to the New York Post, which reported he faces a $15,000 fine for violating COVID orders and running the illegal club.

The Bronx bust came a day after sheriff deputies broke up an illegal bottle club on W. 26th Street in Chelsea on Friday night. Over 200 people were at the event in violation of state emergency orders, authorities said.
Four organizers were charged with multiple misdemeanors in that bust.
