NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Authorities are reportedly investigating a potential bomb threat made to a plane before it safely landed at JFK Airport on Sunday afternoon.
Port Authority spokesperson Lenis Rodriguez confirmed to WNBC that there was a report of a bomb threat on the flight before it landed at the airport around 3:45 p.m.
An investigation is ongoing, according to the report.
The flight was an Aeroflot plane from Moscow, PIX11 reported.
While one runway was reportedly closed amid the investigation, officials said "the airport is fully open and flights are operating without delays."
"Due to an ongoing incident, emergency personnel and activity may be observed at JFK airport," officials tweeted.
