NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A woman was fatally stabbed on a street in Washington Heights Monday morning, according to police, who are eyeing a suspect believed to be her former beau.
The victim, a 29-year-old woman, suffered stab wounds to the face, neck, and shoulder near West 175th Street and Haven Avenue at around 5:40 a.m., according to the police.
Video uploaded to the Citizen App shows blood splattered across a building's wall.
She was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved, police said.
Police believe that the suspect was the victim's ex-boyfriend.
No arrests have been made.
An investigation is ongoing.
