Robbery suspect threatens to stab workers with syringe at Manhattan CVS: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Friday released surveillance images of a man wanted for allegedly threatening employees with a syringe while stealing from a CVS in Manhattan earlier this month.

Police said the suspect walked into the pharmacy chain located at 387 Park Avenue South in the Rose Hill neighborhood around 2 p.m. back on August 11.

He allegedly started taking items off the shelves and putting them inside his black bag.

When confronted by employees, police said the suspect pulled out a syringe and threatened to stab them with it.

He then walked out of the store with the stolen goods and was last seen heading northbound on Park Avenue South.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned male, who wore a black baseball cap, a white mask, a black shirt, blue shorts and black sneakers.
