
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An MTA bus crashed into a retaining wall in the Bronx on Monday night after it rolled backward down a hill authorities said.
The driver, 37, told police they had just parked the bus near 6629 Broadway in Riverdale around 10:45 p.m. when it began to roll.
The runaway bus struck a wall outside an apartment building but did not hit the building itself. officials said.
No injuries were reported, and there was no structural damage to the building.
Police confirmed no one was on board the bus at the time of the crash.
