NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 20-year-old Staten Island man who was arrested and charged with participating in the Capitol riot has been released on $250,000 bail, according to a report.

Nicholas Moncada, a former Fashion Institute of Technology Student who allegedly posted a photo he took of himself near House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office during the riot to Instagram, made an appearance in Brooklyn federal court on Tuesday, the New York Post reported.

Moncada was ordered released on $250,000 bond during his appearance, according to the outlet.

Family members “co-signed the $250,000 bond — secured by his mom’s Staten Island home on Taunton Street,” the outlet reported.

“Your grandmother, mother and aunt are taking risks by signing this bond for you to secure your release,” U.S. Magistrate Judge Ramn Reyes Jr. said to Moncada, according to the outlet. “Do you understand?”

“I understand,” Moncada reportedly replied.

Moncada has been prohibited from “using social media and participating in any political rallies or entering any state capitol,” the outlet reported.
