
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A hooded stranger molested a 9-year-old girl as she walked to school in Brooklyn on Thursday, and police released photos of the alleged perpetrator to help their manhunt.
The child was walking down 59th Street, near Ninth Avenue in Borough Park, at about 7:45 a.m. when the stranger came up to her.
Police said that the suspect lunged at the girl, ran his hands over her body and touched her private parts over her clothes before fleeing on foot.
She was physically uninjured as a result of this incident.
The suspect is depicted in surveillance footage obtained by investigators and is described as being between 5’6” to 5’7” with an average build.
He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
