NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Trump International Hotel & Tower at Columbus Circle has been the site of anti-Trump protests throughout his presidency, but despite Joe Biden's election win, the NYPD said it has no plans to curtail its patrols there.

On Monday police said it will "periodically" close a stretch of Central Park West in front of the 52-story building due to security issues.

"ADVISORY: The area of Central Park West from Columbus Circle to West 62nd Street will be periodically closed off to pedestrian and street traffic until further notice due to security concerns at the location," the NYPD tweeted.
