NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a man wanted for beating a man during a dispute while aboard a subway train last week on the Upper East Side.
At approximately 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, a 55-year-old man was aboard a southbound 6 train at the East 77th Street subway station when the suspect individual began a verbal dispute with the victim, officials said.
The man struck the victim in the face and head with an unknown object causing lacerations to his left cheek.
The suspect then fled on foot to parts unknown and the victim was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black jeans and white sneakers.
