
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A subway rider was pummeled and stabbed repeatedly on a moving train in Brooklyn over the weekend, police said Tuesday as they released images of two suspects.
The 39-year-old victim was on a southbound Q train approaching the Church Avenue station in Kensington at 11:20 p.m. Saturday when two men got into a dispute with him, it's unclear about what.
During the argument, the two suspects attacked the victim, punching him multiple times in the face and body, police said.
One of them then whipped out a sharp object and stabbed him twice in the gut, according to cops.
Both suspects got off the train at the Church Avenue stop and fled the station on foot, police said.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
