NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man suffered a broken nose and finger after he was beaten up and pushed onto subway tracks last weekend during an argument with two other men at an Upper West Side subway station, police said Wednesday as they released photos of the suspects.

The dispute between the 32-year-old victim and his two attackers started on a northbound 2 train and spilled out onto the platform at the 72nd Street stop around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

The quarrel turned physical on the platform of the station, and the two suspects beat up the victim, repeatedly kicking and punching him, according to police.

As the attack continued, they pushed him onto the train tracks, police said.

The victim suffered a broken nose and broken right middle finger in the fall. EMS responded and transported him to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
