NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two subway riders were slashed Monday in separate attacks less than 30 minutes apart at stations on the Upper East Side and in Brooklyn, police said.
The first attack was just after 6 p.m. at the 86th Street 4/5/6 station.
A 28-year-old woman was in a dispute with a man on a platform at the station when he slashed her across the face, police said.
She was hospitalized at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.
Just 20 minutes later, a slashing at the Wilson Avenue station in Bushwick left a 30-year-old man wounded.
The victim was in a dispute with another man on a Brooklyn-bound L train when he was slashed across the neck.
He was in stable condition at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.
No arrests had been reported in either attack as of Tuesday.
