NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man admitted to the fatal stabbing of another man he met up with for a random sex hookup in Prospect Park early Monday, the Daily News reported.

Around 2:30 a.m., the suspect called 911 to confess to the stabbing which took place at a well-known cruising spot in the park called the Vale of Cashmere.
The victim, a 37-year-old man, was stabbed in his arms and upper body. EMS workers took him to New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Sources told the Daily News that the men had met in the park and smoked pot before the suspect performed a sex act on the victim and then attacked him.
It is not yet clear what provoked the stabbing.
The alleged assailant is in custody at the 78th Precinct and is being questioned.
