
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A person is in custody after a 23-year-old woman was pushed into the side of a train in Washington Heights Monday morning, authorities said.
It happened at around around 9 a.m. at the 175th Street station.
According to police, the woman bounced off the side of the A train as it was pulling into the station before falling onto the platform.
She was treated for bruises to her face, hands, knees and shoulder at Mount Sinai Morningside.
Charges are pending against a 26-year-old suspect who was apprehended at the 181st Street station.
An investigation remains ongoing.
