NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man who allegedly shot and killed a man who was sitting inside a car in East Harlem last month has been arrested, the NYPD said.
Donte Schnell, 34, of the Bronx, was arrested and charged with murder in connection with 29-year-old Ricky Nelson's death on Thursday morning, police said.
The daytime shooting unfolded on Third Avenue, at E. 123rd Street, just before 11 a.m. on May 30 when Schnell allegedly rode up on an e-bike and fired shots, according to police.
Officers responding to a 911 call found Nelson, who lived in the neighborhood, sitting in his sedan with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
