NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Monday released a photo of a suspect sought in a purse snatching that occurred on a Bronx street earlier this month, authorities said.
Just after midnight on Sunday, August 20, a 37-year-old woman was walking in front of 1645 Grand Concourse in Mount Eden when she was approached by the suspect on moped.
The suspect grabbed the victim's purse from her shoulder without ever dismounting from his moped and fled westbound towards Jerome Avenue, officials said.
The victim sustained a minor injury as a result but did not require any medical attention.
The victim's purse contained identification documents, approximately $524, and a debit card.
