NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released footage of a man wanted who violently assaulted a 68-year-old woman in an apparent random attack that happened last week in Lower Manhattan, according to officials.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, authorities said.
According to police, the victim was picking up a storage cart in front of 179 Mulberry Street en the suspect approached her from behind and punched in the right side of her face.
The suspect fled northbound on Mulberry Street.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
