NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are looking for a man accused of slashing his victim with a pocket knife in a New York City subway car in Manhattan.
On Wednesday, police say a man approached a 21-year-old man on a southbound A train leaving the 42nd St./Port Authority subway station at about 9:30 p.m.
The unidentified man then slashed his victim with a pocket knife, according to police.
The train was stopped before exiting the station, but the suspect fled.
Police said the victim was slashed above his left eye and was brought to a hospital in stable condition. He has since been released.

The NYPD released a picture and video of the man they're looking for as he exited the train station after the incident.
