NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a violent robbery aboard a subway train at the Times Square station last month, authorities said Thursday.
At approximately 11:50 p.m. on April 16, a 35-year-old man was aboard a northbound 7 train at the Times Square-42nd Street subway station when he was approached by two suspect who began to punch him, officials said.
The suspects then stole the victim's wallet and cellphone.
The victim got off at the station and was treated by EMS at the scene, cops said.
The suspects switched train cars and remained on the train.
