NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage on Wednesday of a woman accused of attacking another woman unprovoked while she waited for an MTA bus in Brooklyn last week.
It happened just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, while the 66-year-old victim was waiting at a B46 bus stop at the intersection of Utica Avenue and Avenue K in Flatlands, officials said.
According to police, the suspect approached the woman from behind, then grabbed her hair and pushed her to the ground before fleeing on foot, traveling northbound on Utica Avenue.
The victim sustained minor injuries during the attack and declined medical attention at the scene.
The suspect was last seen wearing a tan jacket, black T-shirt, blue pants, and multicolored sneakers.
