NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released images Wednesday of a female suspect who allegedly sucker punched a woman at a Queens subway station earlier this month.

The victim, 30, was waiting to board an L train at the Myrtle–Wyckoff Avenues station in Ridgewood around 8:30 p.m. when the woman came up and punched her in the face, according to the NYPD.

The suspect then boarded the same train and fled, according to police, who indicated no words were exchanged before the unhinged attack.

The victim suffered minor injuries and declined medical attention at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
