NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released a photo on Thursday of a gunman they are searching for after he allegedly shot a teen boy on a Brooklyn street last week.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, a 17-year-old boy was walking at the corner of President Street and Classon Avenue in Prospect Heights when he was approached by five men, officials said.

One of the suspects discharged a firearm, striking the victim in the abdomen.

The group then fled the location on foot, traveling southbound on Washington Avenue.

EMS transported the teen to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in critical condition.

The gunman is described as a man with a heavy build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing all black.
