VIDEO: Suspects seen slashing Apple billboards across Bushwick sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a group of suspects seen on surveillance footage slashing multiple Apple billboard ads in Bushwick, authorities said.

The first incident happened at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021, in the vicinity of Knickerbocker Avenue and Harrison Avenue, according to the NYPD.


Officials said a woman produced an unknown cutting instrument and slashed two separate canvass billboards with an Apple advertisement on them while a man acted as the lookout, police said.

The couple then fled southbound on Knickerbocker Avenue on foot.

Just before 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, in the vicinity of Knickerbocker Avenue and Ingraham Street, officials said the male suspect produced an unknown cutting instrument and slashed a canvassing board with an Apple advertisement on it before fleeinig northbound on Knickerbocker Avenue.

The latest incident happened on Sunday, March 27, at 7:15 a.m. in the vicinity of Knickerbocker Avenue and Ingraham Street.

Police said two men were walking when one produced an unknown cutting instrument and slashed a canvass billboard with an Apple advertisement on it.

The men fled southbound on Knickerbocker Avenue on foot.
