
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 16-year-old boy was arrested for violently robbing a 76-year-old man in front of Bronx Chick-fil-A last month, authorities announced Wednesday.
The teen, whose identity was withheld due to his age, was arrested on Friday and charged with robbery.
At approximately 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, the victim was in front of 201 East Fordham Rd., in Fordham Heights when the teen approached him from behind and struck him in the leg with an unknown object, officials said.

The teen then stole the victim's wallet from his back pants pocket and fled on foot. The teen made unauthorized transactions with the victim's credit card, police said.
EMS transported the victim to BronxCare Hospital Center in stable condition.
