NEW YORK 1010 WINS -- The NYPD is investigating after a teen that was shot in the head in Brooklyn died -- three days after the incident, police said Thursday.
Jalil Stewart was shot on Avenue O near E. 48th Street at about 6:20 p.m. on Feb. 26, officials said.
The shooting occurred around the corner from his home on Flatlands Avenue, according to authorities.
Stewart had gotten into an argument at Kings Plaza Shopping Center earlier and police believe that dispute is linked to the shooting, sources told the Daily News.
Stewart was rushed to Kings County Hospital then later transferred to Maimonides Medical Center, where he died on March 1.
The NYPD said Stewart had no criminal history.
There have been no arrests in his death and an investigation is ongoing.
