The group of assailants approached the 21-year-old commuter on a 2 train heading south in Manhattan around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, police said.

The group punched and kicked the man multiple times, bloodying his nose, as the train approached the 66th Street–Lincoln Center station, police said.

They then allegedly took the man’s wallet containing $80 and a MetroCard. They also stole his Galaxy headphones. Police estimate they took $520 in property from the man.

Police released photos of the suspects Tuesday. The NYPD estimates the attackers to be teenage boys between 13 and 18 years old.
