Young thieves snatch AirPods from woman's ears at Queens subway station

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in ascertaining the identity and whereabouts of the individuals depicted in the attached media wanted in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 108 Precinct and Transit District 20. Details are as follows:        It was reported to police that on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at approximately 0825 hours, the victim, a 27-year-old female, was on the southbound “E” train platform of the Queens Plaza subway station when she was approached by unknown individuals. The individuals snatched the victim’s airpods from her ears before fleeing. The victim was not injured in this incident.       Media is attached and available at DCPI. NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Monday released a photo of a trio of young thieves they are looking to identity for an AirPod theft inside a Queens subway station last week.

At approximately 8:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, a 27-year-old woman was on the southbound E train platform of the Queens Plaza subway station when she was approached by the teens.


The suspects then snatched the victim's AirPods from her ears before fleeing.

The victim was not injured.
