NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 67-year-old woman was tied up and robbed of thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry by two people who broke into her Queens house, authorities said.

One of the robbers took out a gun and pointed it at the woman while demanding money. They then used duct tape to tape up her eyes and lead her to an upstairs bedroom, according to officials.

Once inside the bedroom, the woman was duct taped to the bed posts through her wrists. The thieves then stole about $50,000 cash from the woman's home as well as jewelry before fleeing the scene, cops said.
