VIDEO: Cops searching for teens who robbed Bronx 12-year-old at knifepoint in elevator

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for two teenage boys who robbed a 12-year-old boy in his Bronx apartment building’s elevator last month.

The teens cornered him in the elevator of an apartment building near Park Avenue and East 158th Street in Melrose on Oct. 22 around 7:30 p.m. and demanded his property at knifepoint, according to authorities.

Once he handed over his credit card, the two robbers fled.

The pre-teen was not injured during the robbery.

Police suspect the robbers are between 13 and 16 years old.
