NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a shooting in Manhattan Monday morning that left one man dead and another injured.
Cops responding to a 911 call of an assault in progress in Yorkville found a 33-year-old with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder and a 43-year-old with a gunshot wound to his back on East 95th Street, near 2nd Avenue, around 9:33 a.m., police said.
Both men were transported to NY Presbyterian Hospital, where the 33-year-old male was pronounced dead.
The 43-year-old is in stable condition, according to police.
The unidentified gunman fled the scene in a blue SUV, police said.
The NYPD on Wednesday released footage showing the suspect in a black sweatsuit.
