NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD is searching for two suspects who allegedly carved the word “Nazis” and a swastika on the doors of a Tesla Cybertruck in Brooklyn this week.
The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the vandalism on Monroe Street, near Patchen Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant early Thursday morning.
Police said the Cybertruck’s cameras captured video of the duo scrawling the word and Nazi symbol on the truck around 1 a.m.
The incident comes amid an uptick in attacks on property with the Tesla logo across the U.S. since President Donald Trump took office and tapped Tesla CEO Elon Musk for a prominent role overseeing a new Department of Government Efficiency that has slashed government spending.

This week, a man was arrested by the feds for allegedly setting fire to Tesla vehicles in Las Vegas.
Another man is accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at a Tesla store in Salem, Oregon, while dozens of bullets were also fired into a Tesla showroom outside of Portland.
In Colorado, a woman was charged with tossing Molotov cocktails at vehicles and writing the words “Nazi cars” at a Tesla dealership.

And in South Carolina, police arrested a man accused of setting fire to Tesla charging stations near Charleston.
