NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect on Thursday accused of bashing an 18-year-old victim in the face with a brick during an altercation in Brooklyn last month.
It happened at approximately 11:39 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, in the vicinity of Pitkin Avenue and Watkins Street in Brownsville.
According to officials, the suspect approached the victim and engaged them in a verbal dispute.
The suspect then struck the victim in the face with a brick and fled the location on foot, traveling eastbound on Pitkin Avenue.
EMS transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black Nike ski mask and a blue Nike sweat suit.
