NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for an armed suspect who is wanted for robbing a person at gunpoint late Thursday in a ritzy Manhattan neighborhood, authorities said.

According to officials, at around 11:50 p.m., the suspect pulled a gun at the intersection of East 57th Street and Fifth Avenue – the home to the Trump Tower and luxury stores, including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel.
The thief took the victim's wallet before taking off iin an unknown direction
There were no injuries reported and officials did not release any information about the suspect's gender or age.
An investigation is ongoing.
