NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two armed men who violently robbed a Bronx jewelry store of $100,000 in merchandise on Wednesday.
The men rushed into A & K Jewelry on Southern Boulevard in Foxhurst around 2 p.m. and began stealing pieces of jewelry from a wall display, police said.
One of the men went up to a 58-year-old man working at the store and pistol-whipped him across the head, according to police.

The two suspects then took off with neck chains and pendants worth $100,500, police said.
The store worker suffered a laceration to the back of his head and was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the robbery on Thursday.
The two suspects are believed to be in their 30s or early 40s.
