NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for three people who threw knives and trashed a Harlem deli when workers wouldn’t give them money.
The NYPD released surveillance video Tuesday showing the chaotic scene last Wednesday afternoon inside the Eleganza Gourmet Deli at Convent Avenue and West 127th Street.
Police said the trio demanded money from the two employees.
When workers didn’t hand over any cash, the threesome went haywire, throwing kitchen knives and tossing shelves and merchandise, video shows.
No injuries were reported in the would-be robbery, police said.
