NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was pushed down a flight of stairs during a home invasion at his apartment building in the Bronx last week, police said Thursday as they released surveillance video of the attack and suspects.
The 53-year-old man was in his apartment at Van Buren Street and Morris Park Avenue in the Van Nest section last Monday afternoon when two men knocked on the door, according to police.
The men forced their way into the apartment and pulled a knife on the man, who tried to flee, police said.
During a struggle, one of the men pushed the man down a flight of stairs, video shows.

The duo then stole $2,000 from the man's apartment before fleeing on foot down Morris Park Avenue towards Fillmore Street, police said.
The man was not injured in the fall, according to police.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects on Thursday.
