NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was slashed in the face on a Midtown Manhattan street, police said Tuesday as they released surveillance video of the attack amid a search for a suspect.
The 26-year-old victim and a second man got into a dispute outside a pizzeria at E. 49th Street and Second Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
During the argument, the second man took out a "cutting instrument" and slashed the victim across the face, according to police.
Video shows the assailant lunging at the victim on a street corner as several other people stand by.
The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
